It's been a long while since I posted on here.  I actually forgot about it due to the fact that I started another blog elsewhere.  I'm going to try and keep both updated on a regular basis.  We'll see how it goes. LOL

 

Yesterday I had a root canal, sat in the chair for 2 hours and it's still not completed.  Although it's not really painful it isn't really fun either.  It's uncomfortable keeping your mouth open for that long.  I have go back next week for another 1.5 hours.  Hopefully that will be the end of it.

 

I had a nice 3 day weekend in the scorching heat and now back to work today.  At least it's cooling off some.

Didn't do a whole lot Saturday except tried to stay cool and Sunday went to the Bridal Shower for Cindy.  Lots of fun but it was outside and we were all melting in the blazing sun.

Today is Aug 23 the day before my mom's birthday and I'm in panic mode as I've yet to finish her presents.  I sit here on the computer when I should be working on it but I'm just not in the mood.  Maybe later this afternoon or evening I'll be motivated, or else I'll be forcing myself to finish late tonight.  I've got so many things to finish in the next few weeks it's overwhelming and causing me to be less motivated to get them completed.

I'm sure it will all work out in the end.

 

It's been awhile since I posted an entry because I just can't seem to find the things to say.  I got laid off again so, I think not working has really affected my motivation.  I'm sure it's just a temporary phase.

I had a good weekend, it started on Thurs evening with my 5505 club.  It's a club I enjoyed to get 55 or more pages done in 2005.  As of Thurs night I am at 53 and it's only August, woohoo.  Friday afternoon my mom and I had lunch with Carol and Maureen.   She was  babysitting Miklinley,  she's such a doll and she's my photo of the day.  We had a good afternoon but Maureen just looks so tired, I'm worried about her.  Friday night I went out with some girls from www.pickofthepatch.com and we had a crop in Langley at a scrapbook store, that was lots of fun.  We're going to try and do that once a month.  Saturday, Jack and I spent the morning tidying up and did some packing for our big move on Oct 1.  In the afternoon mom and I went to our Stamp of the Month class and made four great cards.  I'll post them in my scrappin gallery for you to see, I got a gorgeous fan stamp set.  I love it.  Sunday afternoon Jack and I did our grocery shopping at Superstore

and then went for dinner at Mom & Dad's. 

 

I think that raps up what we've been up to, this coming weekend will be pretty busy too.

Brenna

Today is our pet Budgie's first birhday.  I don't know the exact day she was born but this is the day we bought her one year ago.  She got a treat and I sang Happy Birthday to her.  She is the photo of the day.

I can't believe how fast this summer is going.  Jack and I have been busy working during the week and out enjoying the great weather we've been having on the weekends.  Last weekend we hit Vancouver to catch the fireworks, lots of fun but a late night.  We don't have any big plans this weekend, so maybe I can get some scrapbooking done, it's been so long. 

 

 

On a sad not my family lost a dear friend on July 28th.  He was much too young (60) to be taken from us.  He's in a better place now watching down on us.  Our prayers are with his family and we'll never forget him. 

We love you Moe!

 

For all those out there who read this, don't take life for granted.  Enjoy every moment as if it was the last, life is too short to sweat the small stuff.

One more day of work before the big long weekend, yay!  I'm not sure what the plans for the weekend are, I know Jack would like to attend the fireworks Saturday but it's not set in stone.  Hopefully the weather co-operates as they say it will.  We should be doing some packing this weekend as well, we're moving
Sept 1 and not much is accomplished.  I'd also like to get some scrapbooking done but I doubt much will happen there either.  I hope everyone has a great weekend, and enjoy the sunshine.

Well I made it here 2 days in a row, that's a good start.  The weather today is gorgeous and I'm here sitting inside at my computer, go figure?  Hope everyone is enjoying their summer, not too much exciting for us so far this year.  We went to the local fair this past weekend and spent the day at White Rock a couple of weeks ago.  Hopefully we'll get out more in August, although we're going to be busy packing as we're moving Sept 1.
